Doing GIS Backwards: Summary

In the earliest projected maps, from 1502 on, the projection and scale are unknown and has been very difficult to find out what projection is being used and the scale being used. Professor Patricia Seed will discuss how GIS has been a wonderful tool in understanding the early history of Scientific Cartography.
